(Backup) Sailing in the breeze

Easy going sailing in 22-28 knots of breeze. one reef in the main and a 2/3 of the genoa.

Clapotis was sailing at 9-10 knots under Paul's control 

     

Trip To Catalina

October is the best month for cruising to Catalina. Nobody around and beautiful hikes. We enjoyed the time of school holidays and climbed on couple of Catalina trails

For Labor day weed end , we had a fantastic mooring in front of the Scout camp in Emerald Bay. We had our old friends (i know Solen since we are 2 years old) and all the kids enjoyed the hiking, swimming, paddleboarding !

It was school holidays ! So we took the time to go to Catalina and spent one night in Avalon and one night at Ismuth Cove. We went for to do the Zipline in Avalon and it was fun !

We were actually racing the OCEANIS 48 !!! that was FUN. more than 10 people discovered sailing on a catamaran .. speed and Comfort

LAGOON Party - Raft at the anchor !

Yesterday , we rafted with Arthur's Lagoon 400 ''Les 3 Amis''

Arthur and I used to own this boat together and now we are both on ours.

Clapotis and L3A are real brothers. We ended up to find a little cove in Catalina, drop the anchor and have a wonderful lunch with our friends.

everybody tested the paddle boards, and we went snorkeling in the reefs at the bottom of the cove cliff.

we will put these awesome moments in the case '' extreme good moment in life'' ...

The new cocktail ''CLAPOTIS''

It was time to create something special on the Clapotis.

The captain loves Pinacolada but some guests found it to sweet .

So i added some stuffs, remove some from the recipe.

and here is the result :

- 1 spoon of rhum
- 1 spoon of Malibu
- 2 spoons of pineapple juice
- 1 spoon of orange juice
- 1 banana
- 8 ice cubes
- and a little secret to keep it unique
- And put everything in the blender until it becomes ''foamy''
