Galley extension

Because we always need more room in the galley, we found a way to extend the ''working surface'' by adding a cutting board (found on Amazon) and using the hinges from an outside table of a Beneteau 41.

CLAPOTIS is the BASE for PACIFIC CUP

At the end of June, our friends Christine and Pierre sailed Clapotis from Los Angeles to San Francisco. Charly and Fred were preparing the Pacific Cup and used Clapotis as hotel, restaurant and workshop !!!

TENDERLIFT is ON !!!

So far, since we have the boat, installing a tenderlift is the best upgrade we have done. It extends a lot the deck, raise the dinghy and actually don't add a lot of weight to the boat.
let's enjoy some of the pictures of the first evening on board of extended Clapotis.

More storage in the cabins !

When you plan to live on the boat, you need STORAGE !!!! so i have been looking for any little unused spots on the boat where we could add shelf or anything.
In both of the aft cabins, we had this little spot that now allow us to store more stuffs in our cabin.

New cabinet doors in the cockpit

After changing the fridge for a much build-in bigger one, we had some little gaps to re-fit the current doors.
So we decided to re-do the doors that close the cabinets in the cockpit.
Our friend Tim, the wood guru who really did the new cockpit table, worked out on some nice teak doors. and we love the teak smell of it !!!
