How my Lagoon was built ?

Here are few shots taken at the factory on the production line.
Lagoon (made by Beneteau Group) has one of the most efficient yacht production line of the entire marine industry.
It is simply impressive.

My Dad found the name

We wanted to to have a name which would combine the name of the kids ... ''Clement'', ''Tiphaine'', ''Paul''.

We tried everything ! Cletipo, poticle, Ticlepo, etc... in any sense you can have the name mixed....

During the first visit at the factory, we were walking on the side ways with my dad. Suddenly he said ''why you don't call it CLAPOTIS'' ?

Awesome ideas...

In French a Clapotis is a little wave. Here is the definition

(marine) agitation à la surface de l'eau produisant un léger bruit you can translate literally ''(marine) agitation at water surface producing light rustles''

At the factory

First contact with Clapotis.
It was with my dad at the Beneteau / Lagoon factory in Belleville last December.
Boat was already looking awesome ... And we already started at that point to think about all the upgrades to do !
